    Four pediatric cardiologists, three anesthesiologists, two surgeons and two intensivists specialized in congenital heart diseases are part of our medical team.

    Also a cardiologist specialized in congenital heart disease, two surgeons and two intensivists work for our Service.

    The Service works in association with the departments of Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Intensive Care and Nursing, specialized in cardiovascular pediatric care. They have the support of the Radiology, Blood Bank and the Clinical Laboratory departments, and specialized services of the Pediatrics area (Nephrology, Pneumology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Palliative Care, Psychology). The services is equipped with cutting-edge technology that allows for a high-quality service, under the highest technological standards currently available. Optimal surgical instruments and anesthesia equipment are available, as well as ECMO cardiopulmonary assistance and specialized services for the management of transplanted patients.
