Endobronchial ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EBUS-FNA) is available (the only one in Cali), a specialized, minimally invasive procedure designed to evaluate upper airways and take samples beyond the tracheobronchial wall, for the analysis and staging of lung cancer, diagnosis of other masses or pulmonary lesions and therapeutic bronchoscopy.
We also have:
Electrocautery, argon plasma coagulation and CryoProbes; also, the possibility of using devices such as stents, valves or coils for a comprehensive management of oncological and non-oncological patients, providing prompt and effective management in the different phases of lung disease (diagnosis, treatment and palliation).
The service is conveniently equipped with anesthesiology procedures for sedation and anesthesia of patients who require it, depending on the type of procedure performed.
