In the second Resident Training Course, held by the Colombian Association of Internal Medicine (ACMI), our resident Mayra Alejandra Estacio de la Universidad CES From Medellín, together with our specialist, Dr. Juan David López, obtained 4th place for their presentation of the clinical case on Cardiac Amyloidosis.
Out of 17 presentations, our professionals stood out in 4th place, which awarded them a scholarship to Spain to participate in the International Congress of Internal Medicine Residents.
Furthermore, in the Research Competition of the National Congress of Internal Medicine, our resident participated with the Nephrology Research group in the presentation of the study: 'Outcomes and risks of living kidney donors', with which they obtained 1st place among medical research groups from all over the country.
