Urology is the medical specialty responsible for the study, diagnosis and treatment of pathologies that affect the urinary system, adrenal glands and retroperitoneum of both sexes, and the male reproductive system.
The Urology Service of La Fundación Valle del Lili has offered comprehensive care to patients since 1991; and has been a pioneer in the development of surgeries with a minimally invasive approach in urinary stones with endoscopic and percutaneous techniques and the implementation of urological laparoscopic surgery.
This service provides treatment for all urologic diseases in the pediatric, adult and elderly population, both for men and women. Subspecialties offered include: Onco-urology, Uropediatrics, Feminine Urology, Neurourology and Lithiasis.
The Urology Service medical staff works in association with other surgical and medical services of the Foundation, forming interdisciplinary teams that ensure successful healthcare for patients regarding transplants, trauma and neurourological diseases of in the pediatric and adult populations, as well as oncologic pathologies, erectile dysfunction and pelvic floor diseases in women and men.
The Service has been implementing next generation treatments using cutting-edge technology, in line with the development of medicine over time.
Six urologists with an excellent academic and surgical experience are part of the Service.
