Preventive approach and support during childbirth
In the Delivery Room, priority is given to the preventative management of potential complications through continuous clinical surveillance, ongoing fetal monitoring, and timely assessment of labor progress. This approach allows for anticipating risks and making early decisions aimed at a favorable maternal-fetal outcome.
The service also has the technical and human capacity to intervene immediately and in a coordinated manner in the event of any complication, guaranteeing a timely and safe response.

- preterm labor
- Premature rupture of membranes
- Dystocia during labor, including alterations in fetal presentation or position

- Hypertensive crises during labor

- Care for pregnant women with chronic maternal diseases (cardiac, metabolic or other) that require close monitoring during childbirth

- Continuous fetal monitoring during labor and delivery
- Immediate neonatal care for a safe adaptation to extrauterine life

- Early initiation of breastfeeding with professional support
- Immediate support from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, when the newborn requires it
