Exam preparation

Most non-invasive cardiology tests do not require special preparation or anesthesia. It is important that the child remains calm and is accompanied by a family member during the examination.

In specific cases, such as transesophageal echocardiography, anesthesia or sedation is required, which will be explained beforehand by the medical team.
