Unit Mission


Our mission is to create equitable conditions for healthcare delivery and improve the well-being of individuals and communities through education, research, quality service, and health rights advocacy. Our efforts are guided by the institutional vision of Fundación Valle del Lili.

Vision


To expand the transformative power of social innovation and global health for equity, empowering communities to achieve a better quality of life.

Unit Goals:


  • Manage the adoption and implementation of social innovation concepts in health and global health among stakeholders in the territory and healthcare systems to provide equitable and quality healthcare.

 

Specific goals:


Social Innovation in Health:
1. Identify evidence-based health problems in the country and the Pacific region that lack adequate solutions.
2. Identify community leaders, healthcare professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, and social innovation stakeholders willing to participate in / lead projects managed by the GHU.
3. Secure financial, technological, and research resources, both internally and externally, to support social innovation in health.
4. Develop processes and methodologies for designing prototypes, research projects, and cost-effective solutions in social innovation in health that can be replicated and scaled by the GHU.

3.Provide access to information, academic resources, and expertise that enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare teams at all levels, fostering leadership in global health.
4.Amplify critical global health messages by aligning and promoting the work of stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on community engagement.
5.Foster the development of sustainability models for organizations and the healthcare sector, prioritizing the implementation of cost-effective services and programs.
