It is known as the world’s capital of salsa, and it is one of the most important Sports Centers in Colombia. Touristic information
The Secretariat of Tourism of Santiago de Cali’s Mayor Office has planned a service of touristic tours to see the many touristic attractions of the city, along specific routes where both national and international travelers, as well as city residents, can discover, learn about and enjoy Cali’s history and rich heritage, culture, art, gastronomy, music and nature.

Climate
Cali has a tropical savanna climate. The dry season goes from December to February and from July to August. The rainy season goes from March to May and from September to November.
The highest registered temperature in Cali was 39°C on August 16, 1979, and the lowest was 14°C on June 18 of the same year.
